ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-00-25 <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION OF THE AIRPORT <br />FEE SCHEDULE BY AMENDING THE AUTOMOBILE SHORT- AND <br />LONG-TERM PARKING RATES. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene under Sections 2.440 <br />to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of the Eugene Airport. The <br />City Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Manager under Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority Administrative Order No. 58-00-18-F was issued <br />on August 15, 2000 revising and ratifying the Airport Fee Schedule attached as Exhibit A thereto. <br />The Airport Automobile Short- and Lonb Term Parking rates are set forth in Sectionl0 of that Fee <br />Schedule. <br />C. After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's policies on recovery <br />of actual costs of providing services, and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have determined <br />that Section 10 of the Airport Fee Schedule should be amended to increase the parking fee rates as <br />set forth in the Notice of Intended Amendment of the Airport Fee Schedule attached as Exhibit A <br />hereto. This revision to the parking fees is based on the increase in costs incurred by the City since <br />the last revision to these fees in 1997, and has been reviewed by and approved by the Airport <br />Advisory Committee. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, persons who <br />have requested notice, persons currently paying such charges, posted of two locations at the Airport, <br />published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City and be made <br />available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 Lockheed <br />Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth <br />in the Notice.
