NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF THE FEE <br />SCHEDULE FOR PROCESSING EROSION PREVENTION <br />AND CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES <br />PERMITS <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.020 of the <br />Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend the fee schedule for <br />processing erosion prevention and construction site management practices by adding a new <br />surcharge fee as follows: <br />EROSION PREVENTION AND CONSTRUCTION <br />SITE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES PERMITS FEE SCHEDULE <br />Proposed <br />Surcharge Fee /Working without a Permit <br />$100.00 <br />The proposed surcharge fee was not included at the time the current fees were established <br />in 1997 and should be established at this time. The .proposed amendment set forth above is <br />consistent with applicable policies and directives.of the City Council; comparable to fees established <br />in other jurisdictions for providing such services; are based on the cost to the City associated with <br />providing the services; and are necessary in order to recover the City's costs from the beneficiaries <br />of the services. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City's Public <br />Works Department, Engineering Divisiori, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 within 15 days <br />of the date of posting as shown below. The City Manager will consider the comments received and <br />by administrative order adopt the fee as proposed herein or as modified in response to the comments <br />received. _ <br />James R..
