<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-O1-12 <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION OF THE AIRPORT <br />FEE SCHEDULE BY AMENDING THE NON-SIGNATORY/SCHEDULED/ <br />UNSCHEDULED AIRLINE FEES; LANDING FEES; TERMINAL <br />BUILDING RENTAL RATES; SIGNATORY JET BRIDGE RENTAL RATE; <br />AND PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />G ~p~ <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene under Sections 2.440 <br />to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of the Eugene Airport. The <br />XCity Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Manager under Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority Administrative Order No. 58-00-25-F was issued <br />on November 20, 2000 revising and ratifying the Airport Fee Schedule attached as Exhibit A thereto: <br />The airline non-signatory/scheduled/unscheduledair1ine rates, landing fees, terminal building rental <br />rate, signatory jet bridge rental rate, and passenger facility charge are set forth in Sections 2, 4, 5, 6 <br />and 8 of that Fee Schedule. <br />C. After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's policies on recovery <br />of actual costs of providing services, and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have determined <br />that Sections 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of the Airport Fee Schedule should be amended to reduce some of the <br />rates and increase others as set forth in the Notice of Intended Amendment of the Airport Fee <br />Schedule attached as Exhibit A hereto. Both the fee reductions and increases are based on the actual <br />costs incurred by the City and reflect the elimination of some one-time expenses previously incurred <br />and increased personnel costs. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1. Copies of the Notice. be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, persons who <br />have requested notice, persons currently paying such charges, posted at two locations at the Airport, <br />published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City and be made <br />available for interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 Lockheed Drive, <br />Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />2.
