The fees as proposed above are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City <br />Council, comparable to the fees established in other jurisdictions and private businesses for <br />providing such services, are based on the hourly rates of the indicated engineering employees, and <br />are necessary in order to recover the costs of administering the program from the beneficiaries <br />thereof as directed by the City Council and Section 7.130 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />Persons desiring to comment on the amendment shall submit written comments to the City <br />Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 days from the date of posting as <br />indicated below. The City Manager will consider the comments received, and by administrative <br />order establish the fees as proposed or as modified in response to comments, after the expiration of <br />the period for comment. <br />Dated this 11th day of July, 2001 <br />James R.
