{c) Operating or using any battery or vehicle operated noise-producing <br />device in a manner that disturbs other park visitors. <br />(d) Participating in a public demonstration, disturbance, or riotous <br />behavior that interferes with the reasonable use by the general public of the park <br />. or facility. <br />(e) Using a metal detector within a park withouf the written permission of <br />the City. <br />(f) Playing sports outside recreation areas set aside for that purpose if <br />the activity is harmful to plant life or fixtures, or interferes with other uses of the <br />park. <br />(g) Playing sports or engaging in other activities in areas set aside for <br />organized sports activities during a time when such areas are scheduled by the City <br />for use without the written permission of the City. <br />(h) Organized non-City sponsored sports activities on athletic facilities <br />without written :permission from the City. <br />(i) Organized group events such as picnics, weddings, etc. within the <br />Hendricks Park Rhododendron Garden section, as such activities would disturb the <br />tranquility of the area <br />(j) Wading, swimming or bathing in any of the pools, ponds, canals, or other <br />water features of Alton Baker Park. <br />(k) Unless necessary to assist a disabled person, as defined in ORS <br />174.407, or a child under the age of eight. years old, with his or her use of a <br />restroom, no more than one person at a time may occupy a restroom stall in any <br />park area <br />(1) Engaging in any commercial or special use of a park or park facility <br />such as, but not limited to, commercial photography and production of videos or <br />movies without first obtaining a licenseor permit therefore from the City. No license <br />or permit shall be issued for commercial .photography or video for advertising <br />purposes or for movie production within. the Owen Memorial Rose Garden or <br />Hendricks Park Rhododendron area, or for any activity in any other park area that <br />would restrict use of the area by the general public for an extended period of time. <br />(m) Engaging in any activity or conduct within a park or park facility that <br />is prohibited by these rules, state statutes, the Eugene Code, 1971, or posted <br />Administrative Order Amending Park Rules - 9 <br />10/21 /98 <br />r:~adminordVules198prkrl2ao.wpd <br />
