~~ `" (S ~ 1 <br />~`~ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />`,. - of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For the East Side of Emerald Street's 2100 Block <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit. Parking Zones <br />Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br />zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On June 1, 1998, the City received an application signed by over 500 <br />of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit <br />parking zone for the east side of Emerald Street's 2100 block. <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br />zone was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br />proposed zone. <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br />with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in .Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br />that: <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br />parking zone: <br />The east side of Emerald Street's 2100 block. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public <br />parking between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br />holidays. and except Zone A permitted vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the <br />designated zone. <br />4.
