~~'°-~1~.-~ <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For The West Side of Lawrence Street's 900 Block <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br />Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br />zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On December 21,1997, the City received an application signed by over <br />500 of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br />permit parking zone for the west side of Lawrence Street's.900 block. <br />C. Notice. of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br />zone was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br />proposed zone. - <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity. <br />with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />- Based upon the. above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />r Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br />that: <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br />parking zone: <br />The west side of Lawrence Street's 900 block. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br />parking between 7:00 a.m. and.6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br />holidays and except. Zone E permitted vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply fora Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential-long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br />designated zone. <br />4.
