(1) Definitions. For purposes of this Rule, alcoholic liquor and hard liquor <br />mean: <br />(a) Alcoholic liquor. An alcoholic beverage containing more than <br />one-half of one percent of alcohol by volume, including but not limited to beer, <br />ale, porter, stout, and wine. <br />(b) Hard liquor. An alcoholic beverage, including sweet wines and all <br />spirituous liquors, containing 14 .percent or more of alcohol by volume. <br />(2) .Possession and Consumption: <br />(a) No person may consume hard liquor or possess a receptacle <br />containing hard liquor that has been opened or had the seal broken or the contents <br />partially removed in any park or open space. <br />(b) No person may consume alcoholic liquor or possess a receptacle <br />containing alcoholic 1 iquor t hat h as b een o pened o r h ad t he s eal b roken o r t he <br />contents partially <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br />7. <br />8. <br />9. <br />10. <br />11. <br />12. <br />13. <br />14. <br />15. <br />16. <br />removed in the following parks and open spaces: <br />West Eugene Wetlands; <br />Spencer Butte; <br />Ridgeline Park System; <br />Charnel Mulligan Park; <br />Fairmount Park; <br />Hendricks Park (main garden section); <br />Monroe Park; <br />Scobert Park; <br />Sladden Park;, <br />University Park; <br />Washburne Park; <br />Washington/Jefferson Park; <br />West University Park; <br />Maurie Jacobs Park (described as that contiguous park land <br />west of Owen Rose Garden to a point on the west boundary <br />where the improved area ends and the natural river front <br />zone begins); <br />The Park Blocks (described as that area generally bounded <br />by East 8th Avenue, West Park Street, and East Park <br />Street); and <br />Along the Willamette River between the water's edge and <br />the adjacent pedestrianlbicycle path or, where there is no <br />adjacent path, within 100 feet of the water's edge. <br />(c) Unless the City has authorized the possession and consumption of <br />alcoholic liquor therein as part of a Standard Use Permit or a Special Event <br />Permit, no person may consume alcoholic liquor or possess a receptacle <br />Administrative Order - 5 <br />
