List of Funding Sources
CITY FUNDS
Atrium Fund (Atrium)
Source: Both private and public tenants pay into the Atrium Fund to cover the cost of

' ~ annual operations, maintenance and long term capital improvements.
- The Atrium property is located on the corner of 10th & Olive Street. The facility has
' approximately 47,700 leasable square feet, and houses approximately 120 City employees and
approximately 30 private tenants. The City of Eugene occupies over two thirds of the leasable
~ square feet. Projects are listed in the Building and Park Facilities section and include capital
' improvements to the Atrium facility.
Emergency Medical Services Fund. (EMS)
x ~ Source: Users fees collected from ambulance and emergency medical services FireMed
membership payments.
Projects include capital improvements to fire stations and to enhance fire and EMS
redeployment.
General Capital Projects Fund (General)
Source: Transfer from the General Fund (property taxes and other City general revenue
sources). ~
This is used for any specific project, service or program not supported by dedicated or other
funding. Currently, the major source of funding for the General Fund is the assessment of
property taxes. Since Fiscal Year 1990, the availability of General Funds for capital projects ~
has not been adequate to fund on-going preservation and maintenance needs, much less
capital changes, additions or new facilities. i
' Note: The parentheses indicate the name of column headings on funding tables..
' City of Eugene 2000.2005 Capital Improvement Program
Appendix - List of Funding Sources
61 +I
r..,- ~r~~~.. _
r,.
