Property and business owners surrounding tlxe Park Blocks <br />have ayear-round, 366-day, interest in the condition, use, and <br />operation of the Park Blocke. These businesses, properties, and. <br />their ~zsers both benefit fxom the presence of Park Blocks <br />activities and contend with various inconveniences thatarise <br />from those activities. <br />Everyone agreed that Placemaking in the l'ark blacks needed to <br />be about the whole week, as well as about the Saturdayspectacle <br />of the Markets. Everyone agreed that the Markets are tremendous <br />assets to downtown Eugene, but everyone also agreed that the <br />Park Blocks are much more than just a Saturday venue. In this: <br />spirit, the following recommendations axe aimed at making the <br />Park Blocl~s better places all week long.
