_ - <br /> -LANE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> N®TES <br /> 1) Right-of-way costs are approximate based on anticipated right-of-way impacts that are not defined in the early stages of project <br /> development. These costs are subject to change as design concepts are refined. <br /> <br /> 2) Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway is a cooperative project with the City of Springfield. Amount shown in CIP comes from 02-06 CIP <br /> allocation and CaPP program award. Total project costs for the Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway is $9,300,000 including a total right-of- <br /> way cost of $2,880,000. According to the IGA with the City of Springfield, the City is responsible for all costs over the $5,200,000 <br /> County contribution. City staff time and right-of-way purchases to date are being deducted from the General Construction and Right-of- <br /> - Way amounts, respectively. <br /> 3) Lowell Covered Bridge project will be funded by Forest Highway Enhancement Program ($1,000,000) and from TEA-21 Enhancement <br /> Program ($700,000). Through Board Order 02-11-13-.1, the Board authorized up to $500,000 of the County's FY 03-04 Federal STP <br /> allocation be programmed for the project to meet the ~riticipated $2.2 million project cost. <br /> <br /> 4) Delta Highway Overlay partially funded by STP funds`in the amount of $632,500 with a $550,000 County construction match. <br /> 5) Brice Creek Road MP 6.7 will use the remaining $115,000 of Forest Highway funds for Brice Creek Road with Lane County providing <br /> any additional funding needed to complete the project including preliminary and construction engineering. <br /> 6) The current County/City Road Partnership agreements will be extended through FY 2006-2007. Allocations shown beyond this point <br /> assume continuation of the program. However, continuation of the program or the level of future payments will be approved annually at <br /> the discretion of the Board. <br /> 7) 42"d Street signal project subject to scoping and approval by ODOT. <br /> 8) West Boundary Road partially funded by Federal Forest Highway Program Grant for $750,000. <br /> 9) These bridge replacements are funded by the Oregon ransportation Investment Act of 2003 (OTIA III) to the amount shown. The <br /> estimates shown in the table are the construction amounts and do not include the design and construction engineering costs which will <br /> also be funded by OTIA III to a maximum amount. <br /> 10) The Highway 126 at Deerhorn Road safety improvement is a contribution of Road Fund to an Oregon Department of Transportation <br /> project that might be identified for this location. Conditions on the expenditure of this funding will be covered by an intergovernmental <br /> agreement. <br /> 11) This is a local match for federal earmark or state funding of improvement to the interchange at Interstate 5 and Pearl Street in Coburg. <br /> 12) The amount shown for North Game Farm Road includes a $350,000 loan to the City of Eugene for extending improvements to the City <br /> of Springfield City Limit. Terms and obligations related to the loan will be outlined in a specific intergovernmental agreement. <br /> 2'; <br /> <br />
