PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br />The performance of the City's portfolio will be measured against the performance of the "S & P <br />Rated LGIP Index" as reported monthly in the Public Investor, a monthly subscription newsletter <br />of the Government Finance Officers Association. The index is comprised of local government <br />investment pools that are rated AAA or AA by Standard & Poor's and represents pools that <br />strive to maintain a stable net asset value. <br />INVESTMENT POLICY ADOPTION <br />The investment policy will be reviewed by the Finance Committee and the Oregon Short-Term <br />Fund Board, prior to being submitted to the City Council for adoption on an annual basis, in <br />accordance with ORS 294.135a. <br />Adoption of this policy supersedes any other previous Council action or policy regarding the <br />City's investment management practices. <br />2005 MWMC Financial Plan -Appendix IV Page 52 <br />
