The porch on the front <br />facade is a later addition as evidenced by the gable shaped cut in the clapboard siding above the front door. <br />The carport is also a later addition. The house's original windows are varied and include several multi-pane <br />craftsman style and multi-pane horizontal windows. The roof is covered with composition shingles and the <br />exterior surface material is clapboard. <br />Historical Significance: <br />Elizabeth Katherine Ellison owned the land on which this house was built in 1920. Henry and Mary ten <br />Nagel subsequently owned the house. Henry ten Nagel was the owner of Dutchy's Construction and <br />Contracting. There are no further records on the ownership or residents of this house. Based on the research, <br />it does not appear that this house is associated with significant historical events or people, nor does it possess <br />architectural significance.
