Alternative site 5 <br />was deemed impractical because <br />of the cost to acquire all of the <br />properties would exceed GSA's <br />current budget allocation. After <br />issuance of the draft EIS, <br />Alternative 2, Chiquita (formerly <br />Agripac) was amended to include <br />the AutoCraft property on the <br />southwest corner of the site. The <br />original footprint for site <br />alternative 2 had inadequate space <br />between the proposed federal <br />courthouse and the AutoCraft <br />shop to meet necessary security <br />and safety requirements. A <br />portion of the AutoCraft auto <br />body shop is located south of East <br />8tl' Avenue, while the rest of the <br />shop is located north of East 8"' <br />Avenue. <br />11.1-Comment acknowledged. <br />The alternatives under <br />consideration have been revised <br />somewhat since publication of the <br />draft EIS.
