Airport ` Funding Secured <br />Site and Facility Improvements <br />Expand Air Cargo Ramp <br />Project Description: The project increases the air cargo ramp area from 122,100 to 254,627 square feet. <br />The allowable cargo handling capacity will increase from 32,400 pounds to 216,000 pounds. The ramp <br />expansion will accommodate larger aircraft and provide increased clearances and room for maneuvering <br />on the ramp. -The larger aircraft will enable the air cargo handlers to increase their capacity and efficiency <br />by handling a significantly larger amount of air cargo. This project will significantly improve ramp <br />circulation, efficiency, and safety. <br />Project Status: Not Started In 2006-11 CIP. Due to a state grant received, this project was moved to <br />FY2008.
