Transportation Funding Secured <br />Functional and Safety Improvements <br />Traffic Operations Improvement Program <br />Project Description: Safety and transportation system management improvements, including adding turn <br />lanes and bicycle lanes, median islands, safety devices, and other restriping and channelization <br />modifications. <br />This project meets priority measure 1 of TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 to preserve the functionality of <br />the existing transportation system by providing safety improvements for alternative modes and by <br />improving traffic operations. <br />Project Status: In Progress In 2006-11 CIP. Project is a "generic" project as specific projects are <br />identifed the projects are funded.
