FINAL 2008-2011 STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />CONDITIONS of APPROVAL <br />REGION 4 PROJECTS: <br />Project Name: US97 Bend North Corridor Project: Phase 1 (aka US97 @ Cooley Road <br />Interchange) (key #14020) <br />Conditions of Approval: <br />Before funds are spent on right-of--way acquisition, utility relocation, or construction of a grade separated inter- <br />change at US97 and Cooley Road in Bend, ODOT, the City of Bend, Deschutes County, and the Metropolitan <br />Plaiuiing Organization shall complete and submit to the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC) for approval a <br />refinement plan for extending the Bend Parkway from its northern terniinus to Bend's north urban growth bound- <br />ary, including the interconnection of Highway 97 and Highway 20, and how the proposed interchange is part of <br />the plan. The refinement plan shall include land use actions and transportation facility design and financing <br />needed to implement the plan. <br />Page 352 <br />
