It includes written material and slides from <br /> Powerpoint presentations. <br /> There are 5 separate items in this appendix: <br /> • Memorandum-The economics of downtown parking. This <br /> memorandum provides an overview of the economic theory of parking and <br /> the costs and revenues associated with public parking spaces. It was <br /> submitted to the WBAC on July 17. <br /> • Memorandum-The economics of mixed-use development. This 3- <br /> page memorandum describes what mixed-use development is, and <br /> discusses some of its advantages and disadvantages. It was submitted to ~ <br /> the WBAC on July 17.. <br /> I <br /> • Powerpoint presentation-West Broadway Redevelopment: Market ~ <br /> Issues: ECO presented this summary of residential, retail, and office uses <br /> to the WBAC on July 23 and again to the first public workshop on August <br /> 4. i <br /> • Memorandum-Survey of tenants in redevelopment area. At the 1 <br /> request of the WBAC, ECO surveyed the tenants of the redevelopment <br /> urea to understand what those tenants value. This memorandum <br /> summarizes the results of the' survey. It was submitted to the WBAC on <br /> August 15. <br /> • Powerpoint presentation-Business Impacts and Transition. ECO <br /> presented a summary of a survey of tenants in the redevelopment area and <br /> described the compensation and assistance the City is required to provide ~ <br /> those tenants, in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Act.
