Road improvements associated with City of Eugene Federal Courthouse site. <br />FY 2005 <br />Cost: 1,600,000 <br />R1VlI: NA <br />TOTAL: 1,600,000 <br />Wendling Road <br />Marcola Road to Paschelke Road (Marcola) <br />Road #: 1975-00 <br />MP: 0.00 to 1.599 <br />Project #: 1975-2 FC: Minor Collector <br />Categary: PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS <br />Scope: Project may consist of the installation of bike lanes, sidewalks, striping to delineate bike lanes, or the addition <br />of paved shoulders for bike and pedestrian use. <br />Justification: A list of bike and pedestrian projects was created under the Transportation System Plan for areas outside of <br />cities serving destinations such as stores, schools and community centers in rural communities. West Boundary Road is a 16 mile long road <br />along the north shore of Lookout Point Reservoir. It is currently paved for the first 1.6 miles. Requests have <br />been received from residents on the road to pave 3 to 5 miles of additional road. <br />F'Y 2006 <br />Cost: 3,000,000 <br />RI: 300,000 <br />T®TAL: 3,300,000 <br />Wilkes Drive Road #: 3214-00 <br />River Road to River Loop #1 MP: 0.00 to 0.932 <br />Project #: 3214-1 FC: Major Collector <br />Category: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION <br />Scapa: Construction of 2 to 3-lane urban standards. <br />Justification: Identified for improvements through Lane County TSP needs analysis, project #44. The easterly portion of <br />Wilkes Drive narrows considerably to 22' with an average daily traffic (ADT) of 800, while ADT's of 3000- <br />4000 exist on the western portion. The high use of this road warrants a full urban standards project with <br />consistent bike lanes and sidewalks along its length.
