In a brief discussion with Les, it sounds like EPT would like some additional clarifications in the
consultant's report as well as, possibly, an introductory element produced by City staff providing additional context on
the technical report. All in all, I'm guessing the release is a month out (???). However, our plans for getting
information to Council, staff, and the broader public still seem sound. Les suggested an additional objective in our
outreach as well: providing education to the public that their day-to-day activities (exemplified, for example, by the
potential consequences of the City's fleet and general office operations) can impact the environment in general and
fish habitat specifically.
Let's continue to talk about the details of the public info plan.
Eric)
-----Original Message-----
From: OLLERENSHAW James
Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2001 12:55 PM
To: JONES Eric R
Subject: Draft Environmental Review Report
Eric, I'm sending you via courier a copy of the draft Environmental Review report from CH2M Hill. Mostly an FYI,
but we need to continue to think about the public info piece.
~~ ~ d
~. ~ ~.- ~_, ., ,' . w . y v, ~~. ~~
