OR 126W FLORENCE-EUGENE HIGHWAY CONDITIONS REPORT - 2001
scale bar, and a north arrow. In the middle of the page, you can
access the report's descriptions (in Chapter 4) of environmental
conditions along the corridor and the corresponding IHC Map. At the
center of the page is a straight-line representation of the 126W
highway showing mileposts at structures, city limits, or other
connecting highways or roads. The bottom section shows colored
bars representing environmental resource features found in this area
and includes a legend. The resources listed are dominant land cover
type, tributary locations, 100-foot Riparian Management Areas,
wetlands, functional overstory (riparian), salmonids (mainstream &
tributary), fill slope (toe)-functional riparian, riparian area-contiguous,
and slides. Categories for spawning/rearing/off-channel and sensitive
resource areas have also been produced for this map series, but this
information is proprietary and sensitive, so it is necessary to contact
the ODOT Environmental Section to gain access to this information.
Each of these maps also has a link to a companion map depicting
Restricted Activity Zones, where care is to be taken when performing
maintenance activities.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
PREFACE
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
USER'S GUIDE
APPENDICES
O
PAGE
O
December 2002 UG-14
VERSION 1.0
