Such "Early Action Improvements" <br />are typically minor, non-controversial, low-cost maintenance and <br />operational improvements, or those resulting from public and/or <br />private development proposals and partnerships. Examples of these <br />short-term improvements include minor shoulder widening, <br />improving access points, enhancing pedestrian and bicycle <br />access, and improving lane striping.
