action is taken. <br />b. 2, for a violation that does not pose an immediate <br />threat to life, property or natural resources, but does pose significant <br />potential adverse consequences, or for a violation that has akeady <br />caused moderate damage. These situations can be tolerated for a <br />limited period of time with interim measures taken to minimise the <br />threat. <br />c. 5, for a violation that poses an immediate and direct <br />threat to life, property or natural resources such that the violation <br />cannot be tolerated, or for a violation that has akeady caused severe <br />damage. Action must be taken immediately to prevent significant <br />adverse consequences. Corrective action may include removing the <br />hazard or preventing occupancy of the premises. <br />2. This Rule, and the provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971 it implements, requires the <br />payment of fees by applicants seeking approvals under their provisions. Although this Rule will <br />become immediately effective, fees cannot be established with an immediate effective date. City staff <br />are authorized to accept applications for approvals under provisions of this Rule. However, the City <br />will not issue any decisions or determinations on the applications until the Open Waterway Fee <br />Schedule is adopted and applicable fee(s) are paid by the applicants. <br />This Rule shall become effective immediately and remain in effect for a period of 180 days <br />from the date hereof unless replaced earlier by an emergency rule, temporary rule, or permanent rule <br />adopted in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />Dated and effective this ~ day of June, 2000. . <br />~-i~jv~_ <br />James R.
