ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 21-02-04 ~ ~ ~, <br />of the ~'" <br />City Manager pro tem <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Reorganization of the Library, Recreation & Cultural <br />Services Department; Affirming Other Departmental Organizations; <br />and Repeal of Administrative Order 21-O1-08 and any Other <br />Conflicting Administrative Orders. <br />The City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 1976, the <br />City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, specifically authorized to appoint <br />and remove all employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter), organize, and, as deemed <br />necessary, disband and reorganize various City departments, and to enforce all ordinances of the <br />City. <br />B. Pursuant to that authority, on November 30, 2001, the City Manager issued ~. <br />Administrative Order No. 21-O1-08 that established and/or ratified the official Departments and <br />Divisions of the City of Eugene, effective January 1, 2001. <br />C. Since that time there have been changes in the designation of two of the Divisions <br />within the Library, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, and Administrative Order No. 21- <br />01-08 should be repealed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY MANAGER PRO TEM OF THE CITY OF EUGENE ORDERS.
