The funds will come from the portion of Oregon'sARRA <br /> funds sub-allocated to cities, caunt'les, and metropolitan areas. The amount identified for this <br /> . project is $804,000. <br /> The ARRA program has specific goals, deadlines and reporting requirements different from <br /> those of other federal or state programs. Cne critical difference is that ARRA funds.are available <br /> :i only until March 200. If a ro'ect is not read. for bid at that time, the ARRA funds will be <br /> p~ y <br /> withdrawn for redistribution to other projects in Oregon, or may be lost to other states. To avoid <br /> losing any of Oregon's ARRA funds, it is important to start your project promptly and advance it <br /> to contract on time. Several actions must occur before the project can begin: <br /> i <br /> • Complete the aD4T Project Prospectus and Environmental Classification. <br /> • Sign the Local Agency Agreement Amendment and ARRA Checklist. <br /> i <br /> Secure a qualified consultant cif needed} and obtain Notice to Proceed from flDCT. <br /> .Local Agency Agreement-The Agreement for your Project is attached. This Agreement <br /> contains provisions specificto the ARRA, and Standard Provisions that applyto all federal~aid <br /> transportation projects in Oregon. To meet the stated deadlines, you must sign and return the <br /> .Agreement anal the, ARRA Checkiist no later than June 3~, 209. The Agreement text, is the <br /> same for all ARRA projects.
