I believe that we have sufficient $ in the budget to cover this cost, especially
nd
this fiscal year. When do you expect to make the 2 order?
Thanks!

_____________________________________________
From: HEIL Richard J
Sent: Thursday, May 14, 2009 4:23 PM
To: STARNS David
Cc: HIGGINS Teri L; RISDAL Lacey L; SMITH Tammy D; DELESS Russ D
Subject: PWM's 2009 Short Liner CIP Work

I’m expecting delivery on our initial material/equipment order sometime next week for the short liner work PWM is
performing under PWE’s CIP for 2009. Please provide me a GJN to charge this invoice towards. Wanted to give all a
head’s up, so we can streamline the payment process to meet our suppliers’ 30 day payment window request.

st
I’m expecting this 1 invoice will include about 40% of our material & equipment needs, and be in the $18,500 range.
These stock will provide our crew a wide variety of sites to address the easier ones more quickly.

Regards

--Rich
_____________________________________________
From: HEIL Richard J
Sent: Monday, May 04, 2009 5:21 PM
To: HIGGINS Teri L; STARNS David
Cc: DELESS Russ D; REYNOLDS Ed; MCLAUGHLIN Jim T; RISDAL Lacey L
Subject: PWM's 2009 Short Liner CIP Work

We’ve completed our review of PWE’s short liner list. In total we are committed to completing 64 short liner
repairs before 12/31/09 to comply with your WWFMP timeline. Attach for your review and use is a summary
of our findings. You will note that a number defects have been determined either poor liner candidates or not
warranting repair at this time. For the candidates not suited for short liners (tan shading), alternative repair
th
recommendations are provided. To date 7 installations have been completed and an 8 is pending (yellow
shading).

Also attached is a cost estimate in the amount of $38,655.20 to budget for CIP funding. We anticipate taking
delivery on 2-3 materials orders over the course of this work to allow us scheduling flexibility. As previously
discussed, PWM is comfortable recouping only material & equipment costs at this time. We propose that
these invoices be approved by PWM (myself or Russ) then routed to David for prompt payment within the
typical GJN process. Please provide the appropriate GJN of this authorization. We believe this cooperative
effort will yield some significant cost savings to the CIP.
1
