There has been numerous
conversations between the consultant, prime contractor, subcontractor and the City regarding the plans,
specifications and the items that were considered extra. I feel the prices received address everyone's
concerns that there is no extra costs for trenching, conduit or junction boxes included for adding.the five
streetlights.
Please note the attachment is the cost breakdown for the five additional streetlights for the courthouse
plaza. This information is submitted by Eugene Sand and Gravel and the subcontractor, Cherry City Electric.
Please note that the prime contractor Eugene Sand & Gravel Inc. is entitled to the 8% markup of this price.
The City has the following breakdown of hours into the streetlight redesign:
Engineering Technician 24 hours $1680 f Cj~
R
Civil Engineer 24 hours , $2184
Total City $3,864
Total cost from ES&G and Cherry City ($6~539~, 33 ~
~
Total GSA cost $10403
With the above information and the attached breakdown of costs from the contractor, we ask that you
respond by November 28, so the contractor has time to order the new poles and this contract change order
~ may be processed through the contractor and ODOT prior to the start of construction.
