We need to look at <br /> a combination of increasing revenues, decreasing expenditures, and/or raising rates/fees to ensure a <br /> sustainable long term forecast for this fund. <br /> ~I <br /> <br /> j Background <br /> i <br /> Fund 332 is used toaccount i~n~ the pre-7/1/91 SDC rec.:ivah~1:esfor which allocation by fund type was not <br /> required. In addition, lentil T~Y96, fund 33? was designated as the "SDC" fmancing fund for customers <br /> <br /> 't who require fnancin~~ of the SDC charges. T}iis Fund is staffed by .90 FTE fromPDD/Building & Permit <br /> services, these Fl't= do some S1X' speciiir ~~~ork ~il~cluding overall administration, intake & log-in; and <br /> plan revi~;w. PWE has 2.45 >,Tl~ a~si~~n~~l to SDC administration. and plan review, and Central Services <br /> currently has .5 FTE in Customer Rcre.ivablcs (is currently budgeted, but it not being charged to this <br /> ff uid <br /> i <br /> i ~ The priman- revenues for this fund are: ~ ~ ~ - <br /> 1. SDC Administration 1 e~ (currently a 5 % admnistration fee) <br /> 2. SDC Contract Revenue (the combination of longterm fmanced contracts that still have a portion <br /> remaining to be repaid to the Admin Fund and the Admin fee from new contracts that are <br /> financed). 4 <br /> FY09 Revenue Budget: <br /> SDC Admin Fee $277,338 <br /> SDC Contract Revenue $50,000 <br /> Interest on SDC Contracts $3,000 <br /> Interest (fund interest) $7,000 <br /> Total $337 338 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
