I had a conversation with Mia Carriaga today about how we can accomplish the goal of committing the PWA FY08 funds for the upcoming leasehold improvement project at 101 E. Broadway. She said it was possible to do this with a signed lease option agreement that contained the following elements: 1) A statement that the specific scope of work for improvements was yet to be negotiated; 2) A statement that the city's share of that work would not exceed $108,100 (I'd like to talk to you about the pros/cons of making such a statement....]; 1
