Contracts & Agreements <br /> No. 17483 <br /> LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT <br /> HIGH PRIORITY PROJECT ~a wA f(~p~y 4- <br /> EUGENE MULTIMODAL STATION <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between THE STATE OF <br /> ; OREGON, acting by and through its Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred <br /> to as "State", and THE CITY OF EUGENE, hereinafter referred to as "Agency". <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. By the authority granted in ORS 190.110, 366.770, and 366.775, State may enter <br /> into cooperative agreements with the counties, cities, and units of local government <br /> for the performance of work on certain types of improvement projects with the <br /> allocation of costs on terms and conditions mutually agreeable to the contracting <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> ~ parties. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the premises being in general as stated in the foregoing recitals, it <br /> is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows: <br /> TERMS OF AGREEMENT <br /> 1. Under said rovisions, Agency plans and proposes to acquire and renovate a facility <br /> p <br /> to serve as a Multimodal Transportation Center in Eugene, hereinafter referred to <br /> as "Project". The location of the Project is approximately as shown on the sketch <br /> f. <br /> art hereo <br /> hereto marked Exhibit A and b this reference made a p <br /> map attached Y <br /> he Trans ortation E uit Act for the 21St <br /> nducted as a art of t <br /> 2. The Project shall be co p q Y <br /> p <br /> 1 <br /> Century (TEA-21) High Priority Projects (Subtitle F, Section 117). The total Project <br /> cost is estimated at $2,500,000. The Federal Funds are ?imited to $2,000,000, <br /> subject to annual obligation authority imposed by TEA-21 and the appropriations bill <br /> (see Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof). The <br /> Federal pro-rata share funding on this Project is 80 percent. Eligible costs will be <br /> reimbursed at 80 percent until the Federal Funds limit is reached. Agency shall be <br /> responsible for the match for the federal funds and any portion of the Project which <br /> is not covered by federal funding. No State Gas Tax Funds shall be used on this <br /> Project. The estimate for the total Project cost is subject to change. <br /> Agency shall be responsible for determining the amount of Federal Funds to be <br /> applied to each phase of the Project. Agency is not guaranteed the use of unspent <br /> funds for a particular phase of work. It is Agency's responsibility to notify State in <br /> <br />
