This program is free of charge and available to employees of the City and their family <br /> members/housemates. The services provided by the EAP are outlined in detail in the City's benefits <br /> booklet that is distributed to all employees, as well as on-line on Human Resources Division web page. <br /> Additionally, Direction for Employee Assistance has aweb-page that details their offerings and lists the <br /> employers they represent. The services offered by Directions include counseling for the following: <br /> substance abuse, domestic abuse/violence, violence in the workplace, adolescent issues, marriage and <br /> relationship issues, financiaUdebt advice, depression, suicide prevention, elder care and elder health <br /> concerns, workplace relationship issues, career counseling, anger management, grief counseling, general <br /> health concerns, mental illness, etc. <br /> Supervisors often offer the services of Directions to employees, however attendance is voluntary and <br /> confidential.
