employees may suggest using the services of the SAY to assist m resolving <br /> work performance problems. <br /> Article 38 <br /> SAVINGS CLAUSE <br /> 38.1 The provisions of this Agreement are declared to be severable. If any <br /> section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Agreement shall for <br /> any reason be held to be invalid or unconstitutional, the decision shall not <br /> affect the validity of the remaining sections, sentences, clauses,. and phrases <br /> of this Agreement. They shall remain in effect, it being the intent of the <br /> parties that this Agreement shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any <br /> part. <br /> 38.2 In the event that any section, subsection, clause, or phrase of this Agreement <br /> is held to be invalid or unconstitutional, the parties shall attempt to bargain <br /> a replacement that, to the extent legally allowable, serves the same purpose <br /> as the severed language. If an agreement on suitable replacement language <br /> is not reached within thirty (30) calendar days of the first meeting, interest <br /> arbitration on that issue maybe initiated by either party. <br /> <br /> ~1 <br /> Ff2 <br /> <br />
