Meeting/Training Dates <br /> Meeting/training dates will be posted long enough in advance to allow all <br /> employees to become aware of the date., time, and place of <br /> meeting/training (at least three working days). <br /> 4. Warning Signs, Etc. <br /> Warning signs, danger signs, warning flags, warning lights, or similar <br /> devices will be conspicuously posted at all locations where existing <br /> conditions warrant their use. <br /> 5. OSHA 300 Log <br /> The OSHA 300 Log will be posted by Feb. 1 of each year and remain posted for a <br /> 90 day period per OAR 437-01-275. HRRS will submit the OSHA Log to each <br /> division or department. <br /> <br /> i <br /> 7-320.4 Discipline (Revised 04 01 03) <br /> In accordance with established City procedure, disciplinary action will be <br /> taken in the event of safety violations, and such actions will be <br /> documented. <br /> 7-320.5 Personal Protective Equipment <br /> Personal protective equipment will be used in accordance with OAR <br /> 437-50-004 through 437-050-065. Employees must use all safety <br /> equipment required/necessary for their assigned work. All personal <br /> protection equipment provided to City employees will meet all appropriate <br /> ANSI standards as prescribed by OAR 437 2/I. In addition, according to <br /> this standard, certain training requirements and certification are required. <br /> See Supervisor's Guide under PPE. <br /> A. Safety Glasses <br /> 1. All safety eyewear will meet federal requirements for industrial <br /> eyewear. No frames or lenses will be used that do not meet these <br /> standards. <br /> 2. The City will pay for safety eyewear when it is required on the job.
