Assist in identifying program needs, e.g., training, improved <br /> inspections, <br /> first aid, etc. <br /> 3. Conduct general safety inspections and make recommendations <br /> to correct hazardous work conditions and procedures. This does <br /> not supersede the line responsibility for job site or work station <br /> inspections. <br /> 4. Review major accidents occurring within the department to <br /> evaluate what can be done to avoid similar incidents in the future, <br /> particularly through different procedures or training efforts. <br /> 5. Request clarification of department safety policy where issues <br /> arise. <br /> 6. Serve as a resource to line supervisors in providing support for <br /> monthly safety meetings. <br /> 7-320.2 Safety Surveys <br /> The Safety Committee shall perform a safety survey of all facilities (to <br /> include mobile work sites) and equipment will be conducted at least <br /> quarterly. Surveys will be in accordance with OAR 437-40-047. The <br /> results of all surveys must be documented on the appropriate survey form <br /> available from Human Resource and Risk Services. <br /> 7-320.3 Posting Safety Information (Revised o4 01 03) <br /> 1. Compliance (Citation for Safety ViolationZ <br /> Supervisor's should post each OSHA citation, or copies of the citation, in <br /> such locations in the work place as to reasonably inform the affected <br /> employees. Each citation will remain posted until conditions causing it to <br /> be issued have been corrected. <br /> 2. Rules. Procedures.
