Maps and construction plans are created and updated using a combination <br /> of software applications. AutoCad and Land Development are the two main <br /> applications used. <br /> The work is performed by the Engineering Technician using a desktop PC. The <br /> previously mentioned research is compiled and used to create or update plans <br /> and maps to indicate the location of features and structures at the time of the <br /> plan creation as well as proposed location of new structures. <br /> The information is placed on the plans with text and numbers representing the <br /> vertical and horizontal location as well as corresponding grades, slopes, <br /> diameters, thickness, length and surface elevations. <br /> These drawin s either remain sole/ in electronic format on-line are co ied to a <br /> 9' , <br /> Y ~ P <br /> compact disc ,are printed out on paper for immediate use or printed onto <br /> reproducible format for archival information.
