This reduces training and orientation efforts. <br /> <br /> j <br /> 2) When are Committee Member's Terms Up: <br /> First Meeting of the Committee was April 17, 2003. April 17 is the anniversary of the <br /> formation of the Committee. <br /> Proposal Adopted ev Consensus: <br /> . - ¦ Rotate 5 members off at year 1, April 2004 (those who were part of the original <br /> committee before April 17, 2003). <br /> ¦ Rotate .6 members off at year 2, April 2005 (those who started on the Committee <br /> April 17, 2003). <br /> ¦ Exceptions: The two Division Managers and the HR Manager stay on the <br /> Committee permanently. <br /> ¦ New members are expected to make atwo-year commitment. <br /> ¦ In choosing members, the-Committee will aim for a balanced representation of <br /> workers in the Yard (see formula used by the original committee). <br /> O Members of the Committee who have completed serving their terms and would <br /> like to continue may reapply to be a new member. They are also still able to <br /> .serve on subcommittees. <br /> A subcommittee, consisting of the members to remain on the Committee after <br /> April 17, 2004, will recruit new Committee members (6 people staying o.n). Lori <br /> Davis will set up the first subcommittee meeting. <br /> ¦ The whole Committee will select new members from the recruitment pool <br /> presented to them by the subcommittee. GOAL: New group of members will <br /> attend the April 15 meeting. <br /> Communicating Survey Results - Iris and Eric will revise the memo and distribute <br /> the survey information as follows: <br /> 1) Make three hard copies of the graphs of both the Employee Only and Supervisor <br /> -Only Surveys for each crew room. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
