The pool seems to be the easier/cheaper way.
You have two accounts which aren't currently being used for a project and therefore, available for
a new project:
4909 -General Public Works
5462 -Fund 532
Both have just a little bit of cash. You choose which one you prefer; I didn't go back to the
original funding source for the little bit of cash in #4909.
We'll sign the paperwork allowing for the power of attorney/draw on the account and send you a
copy. I say "we" 'cuz Sue Cutsogeorge is now the Treasury Officer, but like you, this is her first
time setting up a new account. And this is the first time we're setting up a new account since all
the statements/monitoring of the PW related LGIP accounts began going directly to you, so that's
new as well!
You need to tell us which account code the cash for the project is coming from and we'll do the
JE transfering the cash into whichever LGIP account code you prefer.
Sent: Friday, April 21, 2000 9:30 AM
To: LINDSTROM Lana
Subject: LGIP Account
Good Morning Lana,
I have received a request from ODOT that the COE pay our share of Preliminary
engineering expenses on the Fern Ridge Bike Path project.
They have given us 3 options for payment; cash, pool account or letter of credit:
It is my understandinq_that the_COE prefers using_~_pppl account. _Is_there~o~ne__
available or should we combine an existing one(if that is possible.) I'm sending
a copy of the paper work to you.
Since I have no history on this type of transaction, could you give me some
guidance as how to proceed.
Peggy Hamlin x5834
