Duckett web cam
I've got a quote for $1,200 from the same supplier that's doing the other poles. That's fora 35'
galvanized square pole.
-----Original Message-----
From: DUCKETT Scott
Sent: Friday, November 15, 2002 8:04 AM
To: BLANCHARD Bob C
Subject: RE: Pole specs for Mt. Duckett web cam
Scott: Randal and I just looked at the poles in his "bone pile" across the street. As he says below, a
car damaged the one we were going to use, and the only other one that's tall enough that isn't
damaged is painted steel, not galvanized, and it's already a bit rusty. Can we talk sometime about
pole options? I don't want one that looks shabby, y'know?
-Bob
-----Original Message-----
From: DALE Randal J
Sent: Thursday, November 14, 2002 4:01 PM
To: BLANCHARD Bob C; DESANTIS Bud L; DUNAWAY Mike L
Cc: EMMONS John H;,MILLS Gale L; DUCKETT Scott
Subject: RE: Pole specs for Mt. Please arrange to go to the
yard with me again and see of we can find something else that might work for you from my salvage

From:
Sent:
To:
r~•
Subject:
BLANCHARD Bob C
Thursday, November 14, 2002 3:43 PM
DESANTIS Bud L; DUNAWAY Mike L; DALE Randal J
RE: Pole specs for Mt. Duckett web cam
Mike, the web cam will be located north and west of the shelters, this will give it the best sweep of
the area. Does everyone agree with that location? For the footing we can use the standard
footing for a light pole or the same footing design for the lights on the overlook.
John, in the wire diagram that you gave to the building inspector were the web cam wiring shown?
If not we could take the wire through the existing conduits (already placed for any future electric
and shown on the plans) and around the outerlimits of the concrete to the web cam pole. It
sounds like Bob will get the wire requirements to you so we know what we need at the pole.
Bob, did you want us to put the pole up or were you going to do that when you install the cam?
. Right now we are going to have our contractor bring wire to a pole base that they will pour. Also
if Bob wishes we can install the pole.
Thanks Bud
