PROJECT TITLE AND BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: West Eugene Wetlands -Long Tom Target Area Project. The~purpose of this project is to acquire approximately 770 acres of decreasing wetlands and associated uplands, and restore approximately 253 acres of decreasing wetlands, in the Willamette Valley Focus Area of the Pacific Coast Joint Venture, in support of the West Eugene Wetlands Conservation Plan. The objectives are to improve upon the existing protected West Eugene Wetland Complex by increasing the area of waterfowl and wetland dependent migratory bird habitat protected, maintaining habitat linkages, expanding upland buffer protection to maintain or improve water quality and the hydrologic regime. , The recipient ® is ? is not required to sign this agreement. 17a.
