Contracts & Agreements <br /> No. 21725 <br /> LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT <br /> SURFACE TRANSPORTAI`ION PROGRAM URgAN <br /> City View Street. .Chambers Street (Eugene) <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> The -State of Oregon, acting by and through its C~epartment of .Transportation, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "State", and the CITY OF EUGENE, acting by and through its <br /> designated officials, hereinafter referred to as "Agency", entered into an Agreement on <br /> July 8, 2004. Said Agreement Covers the reconstruction of the existing bike path that <br /> meanders between City View Street and Chambers Street in Eugene. <br /> It has now been determined by State and Agency that the Agreement referenced above, <br /> although remaining in full force and effect, shall be amended to correct federal funding <br /> amount identified for this project. <br /> paragraph 2 of TERMS OF AGREEMENT, gage 1, which reads: <br /> 2. The Project shall be conducted as a dart of the Federal Aid Surface Transportation <br /> Program (STP), Title 23, United States Code. The total project cost is estimated at <br /> $523,000. STP~Urban funds for this Project shall be limited td $469,288. The <br /> Project will be financed with STPWUrban funds at the maximum allowable federal <br /> participating amount,. with Agency providing the match and any nonparticipating <br /> costs, including all costs in excess of the available federal funds. The estimate for <br /> the total Project cost is subject to change. <br /> Shall be deleted in its entirety and amended to read: <br /> 2. The Project shall be conducted as a part of the Federal Aid Surface Transportation <br /> Program (STP), Title 23, United States Code: The total project cost is estimated at <br /> $523,000. STP-Urban funds for this Project shall. be limited to $418,000. The <br /> Project will be frnanced with STPWUrban .funds at the maximum allowable federal <br /> participating amount, with Agency providing the match and' any nonyparticipating <br /> costs, including all costs, in excess of the available federal funds. The estimate for <br /> the total Project cast is subject to change. <br /> Attachment No. Standard Provisions; is replaced in its entirety by Revised <br /> Attachment Nc~. attached hereto, <br /> This amendment may be executed in several counterparts (facsimile or otherwise) all of <br /> which when taken together shall constitute one agreement binding on all parties, <br /> notwithstanding that all parties are not signatories to the same counterpart.
