The City of Eugene agrees to include in the deed for land for which FLP funds <br /> are being used to purchase, a statement saying that in the event the that the ' <br /> land or interest in the land is ever sold, exchanged or otherwise disposed of, <br /> that Eugene shall reirriburse the United States for the fair market value of the <br /> land or interests in land at the time of disposal, provided that the Secretary of <br /> Agriculture many exercise discretion to consent to such sale, exchange or <br /> disposition upon the State's tender of other equal valued consideration . . <br /> acceptable to the. Secretary. <br /> f. Verification will be provided to the FS that a Stewardship Plan or other multi- <br /> resource management plan has been prepared and approved by ODF for the <br /> property upon which the interests in acquired. <br /> g. The City of Eugene will manage for conformance to the stated purpose of <br /> iand acquisition. <br /> 4. ODF agrees to publicly acknowledge through news releases, and/or posting of <br /> Forest Legacy signs on iand, or in publications FS and specifically the FLP as a <br /> source of funding for this project. <br /> 5. As a condition of this grant, ODF may be asked to consult with FS qualified review <br /> appraiser with responsibilities fior the FS area where the property is located, <br /> regarding how best to appraise the property to meet federal appraisal standards. <br /> This consultation would occur at the onset of the acquisition processs. <br /> <br />
