~ ~ \ <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 5.0 SPECIFIC TASKS <br /> The City will provide botanical technical assistance to help accomplish the following <br /> tasks: <br /> 5.1 Participate as a member in a team setting to develop a monitoring plan for rare plants and <br /> the Fender's blue butterfly for restoration activities within the West Eugene Wetlands and <br /> adjacent lands (Long Tom ACEC, Fir Butte, Hansen, etc). <br /> i <br /> 5.2 Provide existing rare plant monitoring data to the consultant. The data will be analyzed <br /> by the consultant for the monitoring plan. <br /> 1 <br /> 5.3 Survey and monitor special status plant species, including federally listed species. These <br /> i botanical species may include the following: Willamette daisy, Bradshaw's lomatium, <br /> white-topped aster, shaggy horkelia, and Kincaid's lupine. <br /> 5.4 Inventory and recommend control measures for non-native vegetation, on both wetland <br /> and upland sites for the following sites: North Greenhill, Balboa, Vinci, Oxbow West, & <br /> ~ Turtle Swale). Management treatments conducted by the City shall be documented in the <br /> report for each site. <br /> 5.5 Prepare report related to monitoring, plant surveys, and management treatments. <br /> i <br /> ~ 5.6 Prepare and/or implement site restoration plans that may include prescribed fire, seeding, <br /> ~ weeding, grading, fill removal, and planting. <br /> 5.7 Completion of miscellaneous duties related to the management of the West Eugene <br /> Wetland Partnership including environmental education, literature review, report <br /> accomplishments, and property acquisition review. Participates as a member of the Field <br /> Operations Group (FOG). <br /> i <br /> 5.8 Direct work crews to accomplish botanical related tasks as identified in the previous <br /> items. <br /> <br /> 1 6.0 PRODUCT DELIVEABLES <br /> 6.1 A written report that includes rare plant monitoring results for BLM sites orth <br /> Greenhill, Balboa, Vinci, Oxbow. West, & Turtle Swale). The report will include graphs <br /> and tables relating to the monitoring results.
