This <br /> agreement must be approved and signed by your City Council, ancUor designated representative, and our <br /> office, in order to obtain grant funds. <br /> <br /> f <br /> Each copy of the enclosed agreement must be signed with original signatures and returned to this office. <br /> Upon State approval you will receive a copy of the executed agreement, which will authorize you to <br /> proceed with the project work. Work must not begin until you have received a copy of this agreement, <br /> signed by the State, and the Notice to Proceed. Any work completed prior to receiving the Notice to <br /> Proceed are not eligible for reimbursement or match. <br /> Prompt implementation and completion of your project is extremely important. It will ensure the <br /> continuing success and credibility of the Local Government Grants Program by demonstrating effective <br /> results to citizens and policy makers. Also, completing your project in a timely manner allows our office <br /> to provide project reimbursement to you more rapidly. <br /> We encourage you to offer appropriate media opportunities and involvement of your local legislators to <br /> help build public awareness of the project's purpose and benefits.
