The Task Order was <br /> prepared in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement dated July 17, 2000 between the U.S. <br /> Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Eugene for the collection of native plant materials for <br /> the Amazon Creek Section 1135 Project. <br /> Under the Cooperative Agreement, the. city may use its specialized expertise, staff and <br /> facilities to collect, grow-out, store, transport, clean, and propagate native seeds and plant <br /> materials required for the Project. The Cooperative Agreement also allows us to use~city . <br /> resources to treat the project area for invasive non-native species. The Corps agrees to reimburse <br /> h i f 'a with that work. S ecific tasks to .be. accom fished under the <br /> t e C t or the cost assoc~ ted <br /> Y P P <br /> Cooperative Agreement for Federal fiscal year 2002 are spelled out in Task Order 01-02. This <br /> work is integral to the continuation of Phase II of project construction continuing this summer <br /> and fall.
