Under this Task Order, the city mayalso provide labor and ` ' <br /> equipment crews for weeding and other control ofnon-native weedy species. <br /> The Corps of Engineers Will: <br /> 1. Continue to provide management:and funds for completion ofthe Project's Phase II, which <br /> involves a series of management prescriptions designed to restore~small-scale surface hydrology,. <br /> remove non-native species, and to plant and treat native plants with the goal of restoring a native <br /> . Willamette Valley wet prairie wetland ecosystem. Phase II prescriptions will include filling and <br /> restoring small drainage channels, fill removal, removal of reed canary grass and other invasive. <br /> species, mowing, burning, .plowing and scraping. The Phase II work will be conducted under a <br /> Cooperative Agreement with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Eugene Distract. Corps <br /> staffwill coordinate and schedule planting and seeding activities with City of Eugene and BLM <br /> sta$ <br /> 2. In coordination with the City of Eugene, write and fund aseparate contract for narsery <br /> services for propagating and planting native plant materials not provided by the City of Eugene as <br /> described below. ~ ~ ~ • <br /> 3. Provide, via contract rental, a tractor, drill and other necessary implements to seed and plant <br /> <br /> j native materials. <br /> • The City of Eugene Will: <br /> 1. Provide staffto assisting in planning and coordination of efforts to develop and maintain <br /> native wet prairie wetland vegetation communities in the project: <br /> • 2 mos. @ 4,000 per mo. $8,000 <br /> Z. Provide and clean native seeds required for reseeding disturbed and restored lands in the 1135 • <br /> Project Area in accordance with the approved project planting plan.
