The City will provide botanical technical assistalace to help <br /> accomplish the following tasks: <br /> 1. Monitoritt. Qf existin wetland restoration sites and establisba~tent of a monitorin <br /> g g g <br /> protocol on planned and mew restoration proj ects. Monitoring ~vriZl be pzimarily <br /> vegetation but may also include wildlife and hydrology. <br /> 2. Surveying for and monitoring of special status plant species, including federa)Jy <br /> listed species. <br /> 3. Native seed collection under the guidance of the West Eugene Wetlands BLM <br /> botanist. <br /> ' ~ 4. Inventory and impleznemtiuag control measures for non <br /> native vegetation., on both <br /> wetland and upland sites. <br /> . 5. Preps=es reports or portions of. reports related to monitoring, plant surveys, sate <br /> restorations, and seed collection. <br /> 6. Prepares and/or implements Site restoration plants that may include prescribed fire, <br /> seeding, weeding, grading, fill removal, and planting. . <br /> 7. ~ Completion of miscellaneous duties related to the triattagement of the West <br /> Eugene Wetland Partnership including environmental edttCation, literature review, <br /> budget preparation, and property acquisition review. Participates as a member of <br /> the Field Operatiozts Group (F'OCr). <br /> 8.
