DIXON Valerie A
From: RINER Andrea G
Sent: Monday, November 08, 1999 12:17 PM
To: DIXON Valerie A
Subject: FW: Lindholm memorial donation
Val, we never did get together to discuss this 728 trust fund account. Do you want to do that soon?
----Original Message-----
~ From: ETTER John F
Sent: Monday, November 08, 1999 10:32 AM
To: RINER Andrea G; RHAY Tim W
Subject: t_indholm memorial donation
I received (and deposited with MIS a check for $26,000 from Majorie Linholm, which is the balance of a $30,000
donation for a park improvement in memory of her husband. The revenue account is 728-9335-47920.
This donation is a smaller scale version of the Hays Trust account, wherein a portion of the donation ($23,200) is to be
an endowment to provide revenue to the maintenance of the improvement. Val or Glen will probably be the one to
decide whether to set up the endowment in yet another fund, or to somehow figure how to track it in 728. The capital
portion of the donation ($6800) should be appropriated in 728, which is where the charges we have made/will make are
going. Presumably the annual endowment proceeds, estimated to be about $1200+ per year, will be budgeted where
the Hendricks Park Maintenance operation can purchase some color spots each year ($150?) and otherwise charge
seasonal labor for the increased level of maintenance needed.
As usual, I have made a copy of the check for our Donation/Receipt file in case any back-up is needed. If this comes too
late for SB#1, perhaps this note can be filed for a prompt to get it into SB#2. --John

I
i
