The project approach, scope, <br /> and estimated fees are presented following. <br /> I.o PROJECT APPROACH and SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The wetland delineation field study for the site will be completed using the three-parameter approach <br /> vegetation, soils, and hydrology} to determine jurisdictional wetlands in accordance with the US Army <br /> Corps of Engineers (Corps} 2008 Interim Regional Supplement to the Corps of Engineers Wetland <br /> Delineation Manual for western Mountains, Valleys, and Coast Region (2008 Manual Supplement}. <br /> This new procedure became effective July 2oU8, and involves collection and documentation of more <br /> data than was required in the past. The sample plots wi11 document vegetation, soils, and hydrology per <br /> the 2008 Manual Supplement protocol. Paired plots will be used to determine wetlandlupland <br /> boundaries. All wetlandlupland boundaries and sample plots will be marked in the field; this proposal <br /> does not include the cost for having the plots and boundaries professionally surveyed. Because the ditch <br /> is so obvious on the aerial photo that with my handheld GPS unit and the aerial photo, I should be able to <br /> map the sample points and wetland boundary with an accuracy of +1-8 feet if not better. If you determine <br /> that greater accuracy is needed, then those plots and boundary will need to be surveyed and mapped by a <br /> professional surveyor. <br /> The Wetland Delineation report will be prepared per DAR 141-09U-0035, and include: <br /> • Discussion of methods, techniques, and f <br /> ndings <br /> • Site map depicting the wetlandlupland boundary and location of sample plots <br /> • Aerial photographs as necessary, to indicate changes in the conditions of the site property and <br /> vicinity <br /> • Field data sheets per 2008 Manual Supplement for each sample plot <br /> A wetland function assessment will be completed using the Hydrogeomorphic Assessment Method <br /> ~HGM} per Dregon Department of State Lands ~DSL} requirement. A Joint Removal Fill Permit ~JPA <br /> will be prepared per Corps and DSL regulations, to address wetland impacts with the proposed project.
