NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF WASTEWATER USER FEE SCHEDULE <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 6.411 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the City Manager intends to amend the Wastewater User Fee Schedule established by Administrative <br />Order No. 58-08-OS-F on May 2, 2008, which became effective and final on May 13, 2008, for bills issued on or <br />after July 1, 2008. <br />The City Manager has investigated the revenue needs of the City in providing wastewater services and <br />proposes to amend the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (MWMC) charges in the <br />Wastewater User Fee Schedule based on the following standards: the recommendation of the MWMC; <br />applicable federal or state regulations; the revenue needs for costs related to local and regional sewerage <br />facilities; and the terms of the intergovemmental agreement relating to wastewater services. <br />The current monthly rates charged for wastewater service and regional wastewater treatment service, <br />and the rates proposed to be charged effective on all bills issued on or after December 1, 2008, within the City <br />of Eugene's service area for such services both inside and outside the City of Eugene, are as follows: <br />WASTEWATER USER FEE SCHEDULE <br />(Effective for all bills issued on or after December 1, 2008) <br />RATE COMPONENT Current <br />Rate Proposed <br />Rate <br /> <br />RESIDENTIAL: <br />Per Account Fee: <br />City of Eugene ..................................:........:..................................................
