• The quality of our environment in general is of great importance to me. Clean water is an essential ingredient <br /> in the blend. <br /> • The Mill Race requires additional water flow to assure healthy wildlife habitat. <br /> 6. What kinds of things indicate to you environmental quality in a body of water? <br /> • Healthy ecosystem <br /> • Riparian habitat and aquatic species; or lack thereof. <br /> • Lack of contamination from pollutants. Banks are not threatened by nearby construction vegetation on <br /> disturbed <br /> • Natural riparian settings without significant human impact. Clean, flowing water capable of supporting <br /> wildlife. <br /> • Presence of contaminants and pollutants <br /> • Ability to support fish and aquatic life. <br /> 7. Do you think that the current efforts to improve environmental quality in the Metro area waterways are too <br /> little, too much, or about right? <br /> ~ Too little Q Too much Q About right <br /> 7a. To be effective, some measures to improve the health of these waterways might have to be made into law <br /> and enforced by government.
